The monster is the most ludicrous thing imaginable. I know the story is that someone accidentally dropped the soundtrack recording into Lake Tahoe and they had to improvise, but methinks this was yet another scam job by Nelson. ![]() The ridiculous narration with random bits of dialogue thrown in here and there ("Character is startled by actual dialogue!"). And watching the movie, you believe this film was a Ponzi scheme by the filmmaker version of Lyle Lanley, because NOTHING in this film screams "this was meant to be a commercially released film." To wit: ![]() This is, of course, one of those bad movies where the backstory is far more compelling than what is on the screen, so much so that there's an actual movie (2014's "The Creep Behind the Camera") that depicts its production and its con-artist auteur/star Art J.
